It doesn't seem possible...we've been fund-raising, rehearsing, praying, and preparing for many months, and yet the day of departure is almost here!
When first approached about participating in this tour, I was very hesitant to do it. What would it entail? Would many from the choir want to participate? Would the choir support the trip? What about the economy? Many questions came to mind and I put off contacting the tour agency for a few weeks.
There is much to be said about listening for the still, small voice of God! In those weeks of hesitantcy, the Lord made is plain as day that this was His plan for the choir...to go and share the Good News. We're on our way!
We covet your prayers for safety in travel, for effective ministry and that the love of Jesus is shown to all we encounter. I also ask that through this trip, members of the choir come to know the Lord in a more personal, deeper way in the weeks to come, as well as the weeks that follow this extraordinary task we're about to undertake.
